SlickBuys Mods and Repairs is a Ventura County based, world wide mail in, repair business that specializes in the modding and repairing of gaming handhelds and gaming consoles, along with a wide variety of other electronic devices such as GPUs, phones, laptops, and much more.
Whether you're looking to enhance your gaming experience with performance upgrades or need expert repairs, I’ve got you covered. I offer local pickup services for Ventura County residents and am open to price negotiations to ensure fair and affordable service. Additionally, I accept device trade-ins for services and products and buy/recycle used or broken electronics.
I accept worldwide mail in AND in person requests. I do not charge any fees for repair attempts or for diagnosing your device. You will only be billed if your device is successfully repaired! Additionally, I offer competitive price matching—if you have received a quote from another shop, please bring it to me and I will gladly match or even beat their price to ensure you get the best value!

How the process works:

After review your inquiry I will respond back with a quote for the mod or repair
Be sure to double check your spam and junk inboxes if you don’t see my response in your primary inbox
Trade-ins are accepted as partial payment, and I also buy/recycle broken devices

3. Drop Off or Ship Your Device
Local Customers (Ventura County):
A drop off appointment will be setup once a price has been agreed to
Non-Local Customers: You will receive instructions on how best to securely and safely ship your device to me once your upgrade or repair order has been confirmed
4. Inspection & Service
Upon receiving of the device I will perform diagnostics and repairs on your device or perform the requested device mods
5. Testing, Payment & Return
I test your device and provide final service updates. At this point payment is processed
After payment, we’ll prepared the device for return shipping via USPS or UPS or arrange pickup for your device if you’re local
